I am an environmental-scientist-turned-designer: a visual science communicator. I aim for a world where science is beautiful. My mission is to contribute to the advancement of science and scientific research by getting it out of the field, off of the shelf, and into the hands of the the people making decisions. I use my knowledge of cognition and vision science and my skills in graphic design to help science organizations share their important but often complex stories through elegant, engaging, and memorable visuals.
